If you had a speakerphone that could reach every high school student in Canada, what would you say?

“I would probably say something really cheesy. Like, uh…”

She contemplated this for a while.

“I would probably say that no matter how big a problem is, always have a positive outlook towards it, and just be happy in life.”

Were there any times in your life when you kept a positive attitude, surrounded by negativity?

“Honestly, I’m a really optimistic person, but yeah, there were. There was this family problem and everyone was really really negative. Then I realized, and I saw how sad it was making our lives. It’s not gonna change the fact, right? If you cry over it, or if you laugh about it, it’s not gonna change the world or reality. So it’s better to live life to the fullest, rather than being really sad about everything.”
